THE STORY.
Hayes Paper is a US-based specialty paper brand for sublimation and crafting. The core objective was to build a unique branded experience by creating a completely custom Shopify Liquid theme from scratch, avoiding prebuilt templates to ensure full creative control and technical purity.
THE WORKING.
Every section was hand-coded in Shopify Liquid for pixel-perfect precision and speed. Architectural choices included custom-developed comparison sliders (e.g., matte vs. glossy finishes), dynamic information buttons for usage tips, and modular Liquid blocks for easy content management. Assets were optimized to maintain top-tier Core Web Vitals, and the entire interface was optimized for touch interactions on mobile devices.
